Mr. Cofsky's areas of concentration are three-fold: trial work, including personal injury and commercial litigation, real estate and business, and adoptions. He is also an experienced trial attorney have participated in many arbitration proceedings as well as jury trials. Mr. Cofsky recently obtained an $8 million jury verdict award on behalf of an injured client in a well- publicized medical malpractice case. This recovery is one of the largest in South Jersey history. He has also represented public entities in construction litigation.

Mr. Cofsky is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, and has received an "av" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for both ability and ethics.

His expertise in real estate/business law includes both residential and commercial transactions, involving basic as well as complex matters. Mr. Cofsky has represented numerous builders and developers as well as community groups in zoning/planning board proceedings. He serves as a Solicitor for several local zoning/planning boards.

The adoption practice is a specialized and rewarding segment of the firm's work. Mr. Cofsky represents adopting parents in private, agency, international, and domestic placements, and has also represented agencies. He has served as a lecturer and workshop leader at numerous adoption seminars, and has appeared on television with regard to adoption related issues. Mr. Cofsky is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and a founding member and officer of the New Jersey Academy of Adoption Attorneys.
